IL-2 Ladder Competitions

Hello All;

I am announcing the start up of the IL-2 Ladders.

Here Squadrons can sign up and challenge other Squadrons and show who is the best of the best..become the " Top Gun " Squadron.

Please sign up in the forums at Team Combat League to post what you feel the rules should be, and so forth we appreciate any input in these area's hope to create a fantastic Air to Air Combat Competitions

And if all goes well we could also create a League Competitions for different senerio's

Right Now is a Air to Air Combat Ladder 1 vs 1 / 2 vs 2 / 4 vs 4

It will start just as soon as Ten Squadron's start joining up, so come on Squadron's.

I know the idea of Air to Air Combat, against a player rather than an AI pilot is more exciting than ever and too just think, your Squadron's name know as the " Top Gun " of pilots out there in the World..

Well for now this is set up as a team event, meaning Squadron's(Teams'/Clan's) against each other.

But who knows if enough Single pilots sign up, we could always start a Single player Ladder, and you could be known as the " Top Gun " Single Pilot in the world..

Well at Team Combat League's forum we have posted our Beta Rules, which can be altered to more suit game play.

Also we have added a poll to see what other types of Ladder Competitions members would like to see

Hey;

Really Now Guys, we are that worried that we could look bad doing a 1 vs 1 DogFight against another person...come on...step up and take the challenge..even convince your squad mates to join in on the action for 2 vs 2 and so on..can't be all that bad..who knows could be alot of fun along the way...

Well, I guess this could be considered as great news, from the TCL-Team Combat League situation for IL2 Matches goes..

We now offer a IL2 Dedicated Server for IL2 TCL-Matches

Location of server is " Frankfurt, Germany "

Looking forward to seeing alot of competitions going on now, with a Neutral playing field added..

Hope to see many more of you joining up now...

We will address the 4.10 release when it is released no sense discussing it until then..but right now we are getting prepared for it and re-tooling missions and rules to best accomodate the IL-2 Community until then...

Remember we are here for you the IL-2 Community...we want the best for you in " DogFighting at is Best "

So come show you stuff if you think you have the Right Stuff

Just visited your site, very nice and man Sorry to hear of the losing one of your maaaate's " Derek " I am sure he was a great guy.

I also see that you a mod free squad which is good because our competitions are based on " No Mods " just stock game only...update patches excluded of course..

Thanks for the info mate,

I have been having trouble registering at the site, continually asking me to fill out the required fields. I have tried several times?

Once I get registered then I'll get some our squad mates onboard.

Yea, I saw that when trying to register a test member..I will fix that now..sorry for taking so long in replying didn't realize here was a page two...LOL

Hi Bearitall, this sounds pretty sweet, I'm inclined to give it a try.

I have a couple of issues with the rules:

- contests with different planes should be possible as an extra contest type. Same plane for both teams kills the joy of historic flying. I just don't see me flying an LA. I suggest 2 vs 2 HISTORIC as a new engagement type. Different teams have very different plane preferences and expertise.
-no way I ever go back to game version 4.10. 4.11 is the way to go.
-30% fuel WTF?

Well, I personally don't see a problem with what you suggest ... best thing to do is get both side to agree to this then away you go..I too prefer using the plane I feel the best/comfortable with...I can't see why the rules can not apply the same for 4.10/4.11 series..I mean we must move forward with progress..
