I just came across this and it looks promising. I wonder if it will be available by the time BoB gets here. (Would be good with Track IR)

There's been some interesting technologies in the press over the last few years but not many of them are making it onto the shelves in any big ways.
Some of my favourites were the data contact lenses (as shown on Rabbits)
The Nvidia 3D glassess (Need 120Mhz monitor)
The big curved screen (not sure who by)
Cheers

Hmm! I not an expert in these matters (Got my first reading spec's 2 months ago!) but as the image has to go through a set of lenses, maybe they can correct it?
And theres always contact's!
It would be interesting to see how they deal with it. I'm sure optically impared people are a large enough demographic to be looked after! ( Now I'm one of them ;) )

That's why most VR sets are useless for me I cant use contact lenses glass or silicone !!
My eyes dry out too quickly so Im stuck with the usual pair of glasses of which I need 3 pairs, normal, reading and PC screen prescription.
I looked in to laser treatment they suggested one eye for reading one eye for normal and use a pair of glasses for PC screen. The separate eye for normal and reading is done as the brain compensates the eyes information and it looks normal when reading and driving etc, but I need a eyeball in my forehead for the PC screen :(
STOP PRESS
I just though about it a bit further whilst writing this as Ive just got back from taking some pics at my local airfield.
The lenses in the HEAD system should be adaptive as the view finder is with my digital cameras, I don't need to use my glasses to see the image as I can focus the viewfinder to my eyes correct viewing point.
Hopefully they would incorporate a "focusing" system for each eye :)
