Ring of the snake king Suppress bugged?

My Ring of the Snake King has 0 Morale and every time I suppress and fight the keepers, all I get is exp and no morale increase, making the ring useless other then unlimited exp from fighting.

I am using version 1.7 btw

This is a very rare bug, it was also noticed with several other items, try to reinstall. Now it's the only thing I can suggest.

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and repatched. Unfortunatly it still has that bug. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled without patching and my save game still works after saving it in 1.7 so I'll just stay unpatched since I havn't noticed any bugs so far on the retail version.

I've been playing for about a month now. It's been a long time since I've been totally hooked on a game. And as an incredible bonus, it has yet to crash!

Sadly, like the OP, I ran into the same bug, only with the Elven Crown. I reinstalled without updating to v1.7. It suppressed fine.

What a shame it is that such a devastating bug has not been fixed! With this particular item, I can get the 1000 leadership with a cheat code, but as far as I know there's no way to get the +1 Elven morale back. Any suggestions? Has anyone written a mod that will correct this?

This has really dampened my enthusiasm for the game and I don't know whether I'll continue to play it. And I doubt very much that I'll buy Armored Princess.
