Reign: Conflict of Nations is a real-time, historical strategy game which covers the events of 1350-1650 taking place in Russia, Poland and the Great Lithuanian Princedom. The game takes place over a large-scale campaign and players will command one of 26 warring factions. By controlling a hero characters which improve their skills in battle the player can win battles and rule their state any way they wish.

Where are the 3D battles like in Medieval 2 Totalwar?

Sad.

There won't be 3d battles.

Hmm, looks like taking the map of the total war series and then putting some Hearts of Iron deepness into it, removing tactical fights - and that´s it.
Why aren´t there any tactical fights like i.e. in king´s Bounty, round based I mean. This would be some seldom variation of such titles. Without I don´t see any reason buying it as it doesn´t sgow anything new or innovative....pitty :(

thanks for the info Nike .i think most of the names are correct. (except: Malopolska is Lesser Poland.)

nice to see Kingdom of Prussia is playable. the game contains all the important states of that time in Russia, Poland and the Great Lithuanian Princedom and some other lands near them.

I think (Grand) Duchy of Lithuania is a more common form in English...

Even without tactical combat the game can be fun but with a tactical combat system like King's Bounty (or something similar), it would be a must buy!

I think the maker wants the game to be a grand strategic focus so basically tactical gameplay will have unwanted impact on the time spent for multiplayer gaming ? :)
for casual gamer like Total war should be a hit to have tactical battle, but the grand strategy game is always fun way to do things in a long run without micromanaging a battle...
