"Oleg Maddox News" (http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=2040)
When I click on the links in that thread none of them work for me.
I tried at least two in every post and get the 404 not found error.
It started out a few weeks ago that the .wmv links in post number 10 (http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpost.php?p=52719&postcount=10) didn't work.
Now none of the .jpg or .wmv links in any of the posts work.
Will this be fixed or are they just gone ??

Give it a couple days.
As I recall those are Russian site links and in some areas there are problems with internet for many reasons.
You might google some of the references and find some sites that are hosting those items.

Hey Tree,
Please post a link or text of the email. That would be some news at least and we would all be happy.
Cheers!

Oleg and I exchanged emails yesterday.
SOW continues and is alive and well.
We will have the write-up when Oleg can finish it.
The man is *very* busy right now. Even more so than usual.
More patience people.
All good things in time
Sigh, when a respected sim site like SimHQ gets shafted, it is all down hill from there

+1, Skoshi Tiger!
Thanks for your hard work, Oleg & thanks for the heads up, Bobb4.
I agree it's a pitty how so many boards are just going downhill and some people don't even realize the damage they do.

I dont know why you are all so happy, it says Oleg is very busy right now, but it does not say he is busy on SOW, he could be rebuilding his Pigeon Coop for all we know. :)

I guess it's a question of personality, Tree_UK.
We read:
"SOW continues and is alive and well."
and are happily waiting for the big cake.
You read:
"The man is *very* busy right now."
and probably feel disappointed again, because you won't get crumbs right now.

If that is your sense of humor, you'd definitely should be active in the entertainment business. ;)

You know SoW will be a truly next-gen simulation when even the updates are fully retractable.

Guod over at Simhq has said that Oleg is busy with 'other stuff' as well has SOW. I wonder if that could be BOP?!

to be more precise, guod's statement was "He has lots of stuff going on right now", he didnt say oleg was busy with other things then BoB
still, for a team of 10 people that in the last several years has been working permanently on BoB without any breaks, and without oleg or his team being able to put in a few hrs to make final fixes to 4.09, or make at least some monthly update post as oleg said he intended to do in q4 2008, it makes you wonder what they are doing, or emm how effective their project management is.
