Will U.S. version run on Vista x64?

I've been looking forward to buying Cryostasis for months. When I went to buy it from Direct2Drive (http://www.direct2drive.com/7935/product/Buy-Cryostasis-Download) I noticed this:

Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP1 Operating System (does NOT support Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT or XP x64/Vista x64)

And the Aspyr website (http://www.aspyr.com/product/game_specs/107) says the exact same thing.

But then there are posts on this forum saying that people are running it in Vista x64.

Can someone shed some light on this?

We do not guarantee that the game will run on Vista64 without any problems. But according to the users comments, there are no big problems with it. You can try to download the PhysX demo, if it goes without problems then download the game with no fear.
