I've just finished the game (Atari version). I'm thinking of replaying on hard with a couple of mods and a better idea of what to do.

One problem though is bugging me. At the Labyrinth, if instead of going through the first portal, you go right following the river, you come to another entrance. Going this way, you come out to a mountain slope, with a dragon's lair (or something - sorry i don't remeber the exact name of the shop) and another passage on the opposite side. Down bellow from this place you can see a gold dragon across a river.
The thing is, the portal across doesn't work, it has the animated blue halo, but no mouse-over label and you can't step into it, the mouse pointer turns red as if you were pointing at a mere wall.

Also, one thing that kept me from going back to the beginning of the labyrinth to solve Haas quest, was that the portals work kind of weird. I don't know if this was intended to work this way, but going through a portal back and forth will send you to different locations. You go from A to B, but when you take the route back from B through the same portal you end up in C, go back again end up in D, then A again.

I've just now updated to 1.7 and will be making my way to a new game soon.
Would be nice to know if these bugs were adressed, if anyone else experienced them, or if they're bugs at all...
I can't see any reference to them on the update patches changelog, so i'm not sure what to think of this... but would gladly see it fixed if possible.

I loaded an old save today to try out the 1.7 version and see for myself if that problem had gone away. Still there. But then i remembered to use the arrow keys to push my way through the portal and turns out it's just the mouse that doesn't work on it and i could finally use that passage.
Not a big issue, but could be worth including in a future patch, since most players (like me) don't even consider using the keyboard to move.

Anyway, problem solved, sorry to bother.
