I have a few questions/comments about these spells.
Is is possible to get both? or once you learn one of these spells the other is unavailable.
I think Sac + res would be way to overpwered.
Some things I noticed about sacfrice (Currrently lv27 mage in Labrnyth)
saccing dryads (50g each) to replenish and build your army of lv 4 troops that cost 800g each (unicorns/hunters) is extreamly effective to save gold (esp high lv troops with low hp)
One thing I noticed and managed to execute too is this:
Hyptonizing an enemy troop, and then sacfricing the unit you hyponized to replenish and build up your own army (I managed to get from 3->15 giant ents this way in Haas's Labynth, just from stealing life from enemy troops). This is takes ALOT of mana and being able to cast twice in 1 turn helps tremendously. You basically need to get the fight under control, wait, gyser perhaps, rage-take, and then use chargers/source of magic as much as you can. especially for caster troops (like druids, Archmages) this works great to minize losses and build units to max leadership that would otherwise be unavailable or un recruitable.
I'm on track to finish the game around day 29 on hard, my next game I want to try a warrior on impossible and would like to know how to exploit sacfrice to its highest potential.
I'm also curious about a few things:
Does "magic resistance" count vs posion and fire or just "magic" damage?
One game I wanted to have an all-elf army with all high morale(which is huge) and deadly ranged dps, but was frustrated when some items like scope never appear (tho in one game i got 4 barrels)
