So as you know my graphic card for some reason is overheating now. When i am playing a game the pc shutdowns in a few minutes. I checked the temperature of the gpu after 10 minutes of gameplay with rivatuner and it was 96. And now this time that we speak the temperature is 65 c.. This is not normal. The card was working ok for a year now. Why is getting so hot now??

I overclocked the gpu fan speed to 100% and it didnt help. I have read in nvdia forums that the g92 gpus (8800 gt and 88gts 512) need a aftermarket cooler to work without problem. I dont have any aftermarket cooler but it worked ok for 1 year.So do you think that the card is damaged because of the cooler?? will a new fan solve the problem?? If not then i will be forced to buy a new card(only card nothing else) posiibly the gtx260.. it is good card right? But will a better card need a more powerful psu? i have a 470w psu now.
