The gunner in il2 and il10 drive me mad with his shouting

Just want to know if there is any possibility to shut this prick with hyperactivity disorder(gunner) or at least to implement in the 409 patch feature to shut him cuz every time i pul up the nose of the plane or lower this punck scream like hell and make me want to kill him :grin: and its the main reason why i dont fly with IL2-10.

Go to:

Where you have your main IL2 directory\Samples\Speech\RU\ (mine is Cdisc\Prgram Files\UbiSoft\IL2 Sturmovik\........)

In there you'll find folders with wave files for the different actors. Delete the offending comments. I did this on the Pacific Fighters when I flew US. I was tired of my C.O. asking me Where the hell are you....Stay with your leader..... saying CRAP over and over again..... etc etc.

And how about multiplayer servers i mean they somehow verify if any changes made in the files will i be still able to play multiplayer?
Cuz if you try to play multiplayer with moded game most server kick you, I wonder does it apply to the changes made in this folder with wav files if I delete or rename this file?

Changing those files will make no difference I think.

Yeah it would be like a RPG a patch that add an option to chose "would you like to give vodka to boris , Yes/No" or if you dont have enough relationship points (with boris XD) it would sound like "Would you like to shot Boris with your PPD 40 and drink vodka Yes/No"

Not sure about online..... I don't think it matters. I hardly ever fly online, but am sure I must have parused the internet skies while having deleted wave files. Copy and save the file to a different location if it should turn out to be an issue.

I looked around in the "RU actor files." I believe the offensive wav file is in actor #5.

Actuali its sound like "Ooo nieeet opiat primery delaesh, Aaaarrghh" or something close to it unfortunately due to the fact that i have to listen to it non stop while flying for me its sound more like "please kill me, i dont want to live anymore, pls fly steady so the enemy pilot could kill me easily":grin: Its extremly anoing and make want to kill Boris or at best case hurt him very very bad :evil: and its a little pity cuz i like fly IL2 :rolleyes: and if i am right for some reason only IL's have this anoing dude

Sometimes I roll the plane just to torment Boris! Really pisses him off if you roll a couple times or pull a loop!

Just paint "shoot here" on the wings with an arrow pointing to your gunner. If it works might make for a pleasent ride home. What I find funny, once in a while you will still get the "stay with your leader" bit over and over and I am the leader.:confused:

Someone posted the formula to "silence" good 'Ol Boris a couple years ago, but I wouldn't think of it.

1. Press Ctrl+E for Seat #2.
or
2. Fly Il-3, which plane have no rear gunner.
