I have a quest for the headless skeleton, but I don't remember even which zone i took it in, I am now at the dwarf capital. Where am I supposed to look for it?

It's in the old Knights Castle in Verlon Forest. Where you get the quest to recieve the Kings treasure. The skeleton and head are in there.
