View Full Version : simple question, can I run this game demo or full?

I have the demo installed now, but I dont know how to get it to run it continually loads and gets through character generation and story, but dies as it loads the actual game. It gives me the familiar .\BMRender\rmode.cpp(2575): DirectX call failed: -1, -1, D3DERR_INVALIDCALL (the method call is invalid. For example, a methods parameter may not be a valid pointer)

it is only possible to get this far using 3DAnalyze with either emulate HW TnL caps or Ruby benchmark - NV4x

Sorry, I don't think you can run the game on this. This is a "business" laptop whose video card has 1990-ies levels of 3D acceleration.

thanks for the answer, i guess. it seemed like the card has all the capabilities but apparently none of the support programming, but oh well i just didn't want to keep running around for ever trying to make it work if it is just not possible, again thanks for the answer.
