Hi, i cannot find SW2 mods anymore(google failed me, this forum too)
I specificly am looking for a mod which livens the SW2 universe up:
-esp having more ships in one sector.
I know theres was existing such a mod, bcs i had it once installed ages ago.
Pls help me out lads.

YES you are my saviour the Real Mod is exactly what i was looking for, at least what i got out of the description. But what does Rodan's Zalada Mod do? And can i install this mod parallel to the first one?

Additionally i thought Retrospection was not fully developed and the translation from russian to english not done. You may prove me wrong.

Glad you've found what you were looking for :)

the Zalada mod probably can't be installed parallel because both mods use same files, you could try to merge them into one but that would be much work...

and you're right, the Retrospection mod has currently only russian language, but with a lil google translate it should just work fine, even though you get more lol's then actually understanding the text :grin:

I was wondering, this Real SW2 mod is for Star Wolves 2 ( not Star Wolves 3 Civil War) and for German version of SW 2?

I do not remember, but shouldn`t the Manoeuvrability of the fighters change when you upgrade your Pilots?

After installing this Real SW 2 it does not change. Speed of the fighters changes though.

I had extracted all files, copy/pasted them in my SW2/Data folder, overwrote everything when asked, as it says in the instructions. Do the folders AND files need to be overwritten, or just the folders?

Die Installation geht ganz einfach. Star Wolves 2 muss OHNE jeglichen Patch oder MOD installiert sein.
Den Ordner DATA aus der Datei Real_SW2_MODV2.00.rar in den Hauptordner des Spiels kopieren und

Edit: Oh, and this Real SW 2 mod is great, adds a life to SW 2 space! :D

I'd be interested in this as well. SW2 is a bug nest but I enjoyed it all the same. Any mod that would stabilize it and add content would be welcome.

Yes you're supposed to Overwrite both. Files and Folders.

I was real excited to see this since I haven't bothered replaying sw2 once I finished it due to the hassle of all the bugs.

I started a new character. Got to the pilot creation. I am able to type in a name but there is no avatar picture. I can click on the icons of the perksets I.E. Choose pilot/gunner/missile/specialist however there is no perk tree and the "continue" button does nothing.

Consider this my first run of bug testing. I'll let you know more once I can actually play it :)

Thank you nocalora29 for the translation, now it is a perfect gameplay (besides usual SW2 bugs :P).. I just overwrote all folders and files, continued my old save game, and the translation fits well, I need to test a bit.

Lotrek, is your SW2 1.11 version? Mine is, no patches or modifications, just straight out of box installation.

Hello out there :)

I know this thread is a little bit older, but this is the only place in the web, where i could found Infos about this awesome REAL-Mod.
A few days ago, checking some old USB-Sticks, i found a real-mod Archiv and was happy like a little child:grin::grin:.
Sadly it´s broken, the mod doesn´t work anymore.:shock::cry:
So, i would like to ask, if someone can pls upload the GERMAN real-mod for me? That would be really awesome :)

Real nice work with the mod and translations. However... the mod says that it's for an unpatched game. Does it work with the GOG game version? As far as I can tell, it comes patched to 1.01.

You can only try, but be sure to make a backup before installing the Mod.
