The FW190 AI is still neuron challenged, hopefully this will improve.

Try stock v4.12.1

See if there's a difference.

That was DCS124.. I have tried DCS125 yet but i heard there is a 'slight' improvement.

IL2 AI (V4.12) is still centuries ahead.. (I'll try 4.12.1 later).

The thing lacking in DCS AI is that they're seem to be totally fixed on the energy flying model, which is all very well... but presents no challenge when you fly the same way, as depicted in the movie.

IL2 on the other hand has the AI intent on making you 'holy', and is a real challenge. When on the AI's 6, I love the way it throws the a/c over the sky... like any sensible human would.

Hmm just got the chance to look at the DCS AI

Seems a strange "dance" they do in DCS very limited at present.

At V127, but not much improvement in the AI... ALTHOUGH.. we have wingtip vortex's, slightly in the wrong position.

With regard to engine management.. that last sequence I nearly cooked the engine (slow and high revs).. and with a rough engine I still managed to smoke the AI shortly afterwards.

This movie (from one AI mission) was more of a testing of my new equipment (pedals sticks and pieces) as i get up to speed again - I'm a bit rusty on my old tricks from IL2, but they work in DCS.. albeit one has to be more careful with the controls.

If you haven't heard.. Oleg and crew are working on DCS 1944, which I gather will be a marriage of IL2, CLOD and DCS.. this can only be a 'Blast' !!
