Why isn't Cryostasis no longer available on Steam?

It was on Steam some time ago, I recommended a friend to buy it and he said he couldn't find it on Steam. I checked myself and it's gone. Why is it gone?

What a joke.. Incompetent company. Could not even support Necrovision Lost Company with proper patches. No wonder they can not hold a candle on their games.

I don't think you can buy it anywhere anymore. All digital versions were taken down (it's even off the 1C digital store, which gives credence to the theory of them losing the IP rights)
