Hi guys. I started to fly carrier based fighters but I don't know how to navigate. I did a search and found this video, but it is not very helpful.

I don't really understand those Mose code thing. The video didn't really explain how does ... ... means 240 and how does this ._.. ._.. means 300. Can anyone please help me.

It says:
Lex send SS (... ...) to our direction. And the full code and so on.
But if SS is ...... then it didn't tell me what are others.
So far it only told me S is ... and L is ._..
What about other letters then? Can you tell me please~!

Take a look at the lettered wheel, the center of it represents the carrier, if you hear a certain letter you are in a certain sector RELATIVE to the carrier, so if you hear F or S the carrier is HDG 90 from YOU, I or T would mean HDG 270, maybe draw/print the wheel if you cant do it in your head while flying.
To understand this system , fly a large circle around the carrier while still near and take note how the letters change depending where you are relative to the carrier.

You want to translate alphabet letters to dot/dash scheme, do you?
Standard Morse code:

If you press Tab button during the mission other letters will be displayed as a string:
ID: BD USS Lexington CV2 (ERI/TOC/BMS/FRW)
Where BD means beacon of USS Lexington.
Letter E (in morse code ".") means that you are 0-30 deg from the carrier which means that you have to fly on bearing 180-210 to meet the carrier.
Letter R (in morse code "._.") means that you are 30-60 deg from the carrier
which means that you have to fly on bearing 210-240 to meet the carrier.
Letter I (in morse code "..") means that you are 60-90 deg from the carrier
which means that you have to fly on bearing 240-270 to meet the carrier.
Letter T (in morse code "_") means that you are 90-120 deg from the carrier
which means that you have to fly on bearing 270-300 to meet the carrier.
and so on, full 360 deg divided to 12 pieces.
Do you get it now?

Stunned silence from the crowd
Indeed. When I noticed the GUI option for this in the video for the upcoming patch, I figured it was a new feature altogether.
Is this documented somewhere?
