How to get a custom skirmish map playable in the game

Hey all

As the title says,I have looked at other forums about this but I don't understand I have tried making it as a mod with "mod.info" file but when I go into the game it come up with this message that looks like this.

Invalid mod name for Peleliu Landing"! (emod.cpp, 278)

And that is what the message says i don't know what i am doing wrong,Any help would be appreciated.

The map is the 05_Skirmish Peleliu on the japan campaign and I put my own units in made my own mission and want to play it in the game but don't know how?.

Download someone elses mod, look at mod.info file the first line there corresponds to folder name of the mod that will be under mods folder of the game, just look up how its done. Oh and it would help if you patch your game to latest version too.

Based on that error your folder name of your mod under mods is not Peleliu Landing as the mod info file tries to link to.

Cheers mate, i have steam so it updates it automatically,I tried it.It worked its in the game but then when i lunch it it will be all black like there is no map?.
