Skies Servers will be hosted on a new and latest generation server, with more bandwith. The new server is able to host multiple dedicated servers and ensures better performances than actual one in term of smoothness, lag free gameplay and flexibility.
Server IP will change to 198.12.65.128:21040.
TS server will change to 198.12.65.128
The server is already up, hosting an IL2 HSFX dedicated server with the name of "Skies~Of~Honor". "Skies~Of~Honor" will become the new "Skies~Of~Valor" with April 1st, as soon as the old Valor will be closed.
To celebrate and stress test the new server the FS staff has prepared a special event for our community. The event will take place on the server actually named "Skies~Of~Honor", starting from Saturday 23.3.2013 (evening).
During special event you will play some of the SOV maps with a planeset that takes full advantage of HSFX features, with better historical accuracy and planes never flown before on Valor.
To satisfy players coming from different tastes and give an alternative to SOV (that will be on until the switch), Skies~Of~Honor will use the no padlock feature. Skies~Of~Honor gameplay will require HSFX6017 COMPATIBILITY MODE OFF.
