Came across this short film a little while ago on youtube
Is a shortfilm about a Spitfire vs Me-109 dogfight
I really thought this was a work of art. The maneuver at 2:53 is questionable lol, but still thought it was a interesting.
The action is pretty good too. Also really like how it was short, simple, but still gets a good message across. Enjoy

The whole ditching is questionable! Both would be dead instead. But I agree, otherwise its nice.

Nice, what an unexpected ending. Didn't know that Ireland internated fallen pilots. Funny that most probably, both pilots would be protestant.
BTW, the ditching is ridiculous...

The dogfight was... claustrophobic. I hate it when the FOV is that small. With that said, it was quite fun to watch, and the ending is also a pleasant surprise

It's really like that..those cockpits are small...the ME-109 even smaller

Just adds to the amount of bravery and heart needed to climb in one of those and close the lid knowing you will be shot at

Yea, that is a horribly unrealistic ending, knocking the wings off two aircraft and still being able to ditch them, an idea a 5-year old playing with plastic toys would come up with.

**SPOILER ALERT**
The 'surprise' ending was that the pilots crashed in Ireland. I guess the director wants us to believe that the British pilot was so...what...absent-minded...that he did not know he was flying over another country? Look at the world map. There's a huge body of water between Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Cute, but I didn't buy it. However, as an aviation buff, I still enjoyed the flying scenes.
