Can't Join Il1946 Stock Servers

Can anyone help me with this?

I had HSFX but uninstalled and deleted it and reinstalled Il2 to stock 4.11.1

But now I can't join any stock server such as "IRSS Dogfight", "GrIj Dedicado" or "Fun 4 All"

I get timeout = 1 everytime on these servers. I changed the network settings to ISDN, 56K, etc..nothing works. I was once able to join these servers when I had hsfx and used the JMGE switcher to stock version but now that I've unisntalled hsfx and all mods for that matter I can't join any stock game

I have clean, simple, fresh install of stock 4.11.1

Any help greatly appreciated

Hard to say... new install from DVD? Maybe firewall?

I got game from GOG.com. And yes I tried to disable anti-virus and firewall but still get timeout = 1 on stock servers


Im thinking maybe the CRT on the servers is causing timing out but I have removed all traces of Hsfx, deleted il2 so there is no game folder at all and reinstalled clean from the original game I got from GOG.com

Don't know what else to do really

Maybe everything wasn't deleted from when i uninstalled game? Cause when I reinstalled game my controls and pilot name were still setup

Ok. I got it fixed. I had to change my network settings to LAN and I was able to join

I only get this with stock 4.11.1 servers...is it possible this is caused by CheckRunTime? Maybe because I'm using Windows 7 x64?

My ping is good on these servers so I don't think its connection issue. I know CRT checks games files, but i reinstalled from scratch and the game isn't modified at all, yet I timeout 1 on these servers, even foreign servers that are stock 4.11.1

Any help appreciated

I just checked those servers under v4.11.1

All three loaded fine after using the GsJme switcher from HSFX to v4.11.1.
And also a clean installation of v4.11.1 on another drive worked fine.
Also...
I was able to join IRSS with HSFX on but timeout 0 on the other 2 due to the wrong game version.

Time out 1 is associated with file mismatches probably due to corrupted/modified sfs files in the stock version.

Fun4All CRT is on
Girj Dedi CRT is on
IRSS df CRT is off

Try joining Battlefields1. We have ours set to CRT 1 instead of 2.

Also, try something as similar as a reset of your router. Unplug it from the wall, count to 10, put it back in give it a try.

I use Windows 7 x64 with no problems so that's not likely it.

And it seems to be able to let me join completely random. One time I changed my network speed to LAN and was able to join gRiJ-Dedicado and some other Russian servers fine...another time I just shut down my computer and restarted and was able to join grIJ-Dedicado

But the timeout=1 happens on all stock 4.11.1 servers. I can join Skies of Valor and Battlefield 1 server fine everytime.

You think maybe my games files are corrupted? I deleted and reinstalled the game like 2 times. Also maybe there are traces of HSFX left somewhere? When i deleted hsfx i deleted the entire il2 game folder and hsfx from my torrent downloads folder

Battlefield1 IS a stock 4.11.1 server.

It's possible the source you're installing the files from contains a corruption somewhere. I'm not sure if someone has a CRC check of all of the .sfs files listed somewhere...that might help you establish which file it is.

Do you have a link to that CRC check of .sfs files? I can't join any server except battlefields and skies of valor.

All stock 4.11 or 4.12 servers ( that don't allow mods ) I can't join and get timeout = 1 everytime. Again I don't have ANY mods installed by the way
