The Advisory Board of FSM in a separate round of deliberations covering all submitted movie entries, has decided that Tempest Tank Attack by Biltongbru, though not a finalist in the Competition, will be placed at the FSM website and awarded a Golden Oleg for its very significant technical achievement in Special Effects, specifically in the arena of Chroma-keying and compositing.
Additionally, On Deck and Shadow on the Sun have been placed at the FSM website and awarded Silver Oleg’s as superior first movies produced by newcomers to IL2 movie-making.
The 2008 IL2 Flight Sim Movie Competition Judging Panel congratulates the Winners of the Competition, commends the creative efforts by all who submitted entries, and thanks all those community members who voted for their favorites.
