I would like to see the "usual" weapons I know from STALKER and other 3rd person shooters (MP 5, AK 74) as well as some rare guns (Bizon e.g.) and maybe some prototypes. Mostly russian types because of the general setting. It doesn't matter if they have "real" rawmodels or not but they should behave like they are real. Means they should be upgradeable (scopes, silencer, night vision) and use up after some time. Of course only if repairing is possible. ;)

That is good to see opinion like this. I'm myself a stalker fan and I really want to see real world weapons in game and some unusual but no fictitious guns that can be made in years after apocalypse. customization is very important too because it makes each player Make his/her choose to improve his/her weapon the way he/she want. for example someone that want silent approaches to targets can customize his/her weapon's with silencer and other stealthy components.
I wish Developers of game visit this Thread and threads like this to see what players want from the Game.;)

Since the game takes place in Russia i would like to see only Russian weapons
with the appropriate equipment.

Of course, real world weapons and not fantasy like the gauss rifle or laser guns etc..:)

Nuclear Union is a Third person game and there is a question for me. Is Aiming in first person or it is something new? what is your thought about aiming? and what you want about aiming? for example if we attach scopes on weapons how to aim with scopes? I like to Aim in first person myself or something like "ghost recon future soldier".

Yeah, hopefully it will be something like that (ghost recon fs or spec ops the line).
Aiming will be in third person and with scopes it will be 1st person.
All those are guesses of course...:)

Weapons-wise, we're gonna see Russian only including both mass-production models as well as prototypes from the Cold War era plus a few more modern examples.

The one I'm looking most forward to would be the TKB-059 quad-barrel assault rifle.

Here are some little known firearms (at least to me, just found them a few months ago) that could maybe fit within this timeline.

A "caseless" pistol. Second version had 48 round magazine.

An AK prototype with multi-shot grenade launcher.

Edit:

A "light" .50 rifle for those big beasties! Limiting factor only has effective engagement range of 100m.

On the third pic, cool .50 handgun prototype. Also ASh-12 has a 3 shot rotary grenade launcher underbarrel attachment and attachable suppressor.

Or any of these weapons would be cool.

Edit 2:

Pic of more prototype Russian guns that are really interesting and cool looking.

Edit 5:
I hope at some time they allow us to find a fully stocked "lost" Armory that hasn't been looted (like the D6 in Metro) with modern (for the time period) weapons and also filled with some experimental / prototype firearms such as the AO-63.
