Where are the server settings for Hyperlobby stored? Are they in the sim or in HL? I cannot find them and I cannot change them in HL. When I try to change them they do not stay changed in the HL mission window.. the one that shows all your server settings. I looked in my config and users folders and in the HL folders as well.

Dedicated server settings are made in the server cmd file.

Not dedicated server settings.. these are the network settings for the client as if i was hosting a mission in HL per the screenshot. Has nothing to do with a dedicated server but thanks for the link I may need it sooner than later. I want to change the settings in the screenshot above but they always revert back to what is shown.

I think that's just the way it is. It's not stored in any of the games file, and I've not been able to find them in an HL config file or so either. I suppose you're left with manual editing. Last time I checked HL settings were just informative, they are not setting in game difficulty and you can have them show different values than you use in game.

This is incorrect. When you are hosting a HL session, the Difficulty options you choose in the HL settings will be applied as the actual settings once the game is launched. It has always been like that since I have been using HL.

Bearcat, I don't know why you are having problems. I would first try and host a stock 4.11.1 session and see how that works for you. If it's ok, but does not work correctly in HSFX, it may be some kind of mod conflict. For me, I can host HSFX coops and the HL settings always take effect as they should.

In an earlier post, Bearcat stated that he was NOT talking about a dedicated server:

"Not dedicated server settings.. these are the network settings for the client as if i was hosting a mission in HL per the screenshot. Has nothing to do with a dedicated server but thanks for the link I may need it sooner than later."

In an earlier post, Bearcat stated that he was NOT talking about a dedicated server:Actually he said he wasn't talking about dedicated server settings...but he definitely didn't ask the question you answered.

You can change the client network settings.

This can be done in HL under the drop down menu in settings tab.

[IL-2 Sturmovik 1946]
joinDelay=20
clientRate=8000

But if you mean the server settings for your mission, as in the screen shot, if these are not sticking under a non dedicated server normal installation,
it could be windows is preventing the change from being applied (UAC), or you have not got HL pointed to the correct IL2fb.exe (game installation).

But I suspect something's blocking the settings from being changed, if the IL2 installation is ok and you can launch the game outside of HL and the setting are applied ok,
Re-instal Hyperlobby.

Also
Other HL files are located at >> C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\HyperLobby

Aviar you are correct in your assessment of my question.. I got it fixed. I think it may have been a W7 issue with permissions on the folder. I also tried reinstalling HL .. and changing the order of mods in my JSGME.. but I think it was a permissions issue..Thanks for the help..
