Hey guys. Please help. For some reason I can't play online with my friend. Everytime when I try to connect it, it will tell me "please wait" and then tell "connect time out" or something like that.
And for some weird reason, I can connect with my friend if I go on to the Hyberlobby and only if my friend host a game. If I host a game, my friend wouldn't be able to join. (It will tell him "time out" as well)
But now, jet war is about to introduce MiG-21 into IL-2. Me and my friends really want to play them together. But hyberlobby wouldn't recognise SAS or HSFX.
Please have sympathy for a flight sim player's heart
Help me, ~please

My bet is you firewall and/or router setting.

Hi Flanker
Sounds like you could be having a problem with your router. If my router has been re-set I have to go re-set the port forwarding settings to allow me to hoast a game through Hyperlobby. Check your router setup.
I have both my Stock 4.11 and my HSFX stored in the same folder. To swap between my HSFX and Stock 4.11 install, I re-name My game folders by adding or removing a letter to get Hyperlobby to find the right folder/install. (yes I know I can swap using JGSME but I want to keep and play a clean stock install).
Cheers

You need to open port 21000udp in your firewall to host.
As a client you need to open nothing.
Check here to forward your port for IL2 1946 >>> http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/

Hi guys. Thanks for trying to help me. However I don't know anything about firewall or router. All I know is I bought this thing called "3 mobile wireless broadband". Here, it's website is here:
https://www.three.com.au/cs/ContentServer?c=Page&pagename=3CA%2FPage%2F3CAStatic&cid=1236150753334
I don't know what router I belong to, and what network setting should I set up in setup.exe.
Also for some reason, I can connect fine when I play Lock on FC and anyother games. Only problem I have is IL-2.
Please let me know if you know what I did wrong in my setting and how should I forward my router. Thanks in advance.
