"The developers are obviously fans of the games referenced above and it shows in the design. Kings Bounty is promising and definitely one for PC gamers to keep an eye on." -- www.strategyinformer.com

Can't wait for the summer to end to get my hands on the Amazon.com pre-order. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors. Let's show our support for quality turn-based games by purchasing a copy. The more we buy, the more they'll make.

Cheers.

Yeah thats just another minor language error. But the screens looked great and the review sounded good, overall great find.

The review seems rather negative.

@burningcold: not saying it is mayor, just pointing it out. But yeah the screens where great.

@daystar: it didn't really seem to be either.

Funny thing is the mention of "point of reference of HoMM". Wasn't HoMM following from the original version of this game? ;)

I've said it before, I'll say it again: The fate of Heroes will be forever tied to King's Bounty.

Loading times are quick. That's a good thing.

@pheonix: yeah that stuck out for me also, sounds great.

The loadings are really very fast, so nothing will hold you during the game!:)

Well that is always a plus :D

Definitely! :-P Nothing ruins a gaming experience more than to be stuck waiting for the game to load

There's a loading pause every time the hero enters or exits battle... but they're very brief, literally just a few seconds.

Hawker you have the game?

What is your system specification? I mean like graphics card, memory etc.

And how would you say it lives up to the hype? Good, Decent, or Bad?

Yes, I have (and have finished) the Russian version. My system is good, but nothing special: C2D 3,2GHz, 2GB RAM, 8800GT. It's not a very demanding game, it ran very smooth for me at 1920x1200 with maximum details and antialiasing. Real-world system requirements should be even less than specified on the box.

The game is very good, certainly one of the year's best. My only major worry is English localization and how the tone of the game would be translated. There are some smaller issues, like weird game balance (it starts out very hard and gets easy by the end), and a few bugs, but other than that it's great. You can tell it's a labor of love. :)

Oh yeah, one more thing: I hope the English version has better intro and end cinematics. The game itself is quite beautiful but the introduction and end are rather 1990ies. Devs, please take a hint from Blizzard there! ;)

Sounds good. My system is old but hopefully will handle it. Your report is encouraging.

All the fan reports make it sound like a fun game.

The game is really awesome and goes well on not very powerfull machines. I got Turion 1900 with 2 gb, and redeon hd2600. The game runs perfect even with highest details.
