Ever since the 4.10xxx update, there has been a MAJOR issue with all the heavy bomber engine performance values. None of them will reach the proper manifold pressure or RPM's that they should. For instance, the B-17 will now only reach 2250 RPM @ 32" MP at sea level. Actual performance for those engines is 3200 RPM @ 54" MP at sea level (110% power/War Emergency).

I have actual pilot reference material for all data needed to fix the problem if you would like it.

Performance settings, charts, curves, fuel consumption rates etc.

The crew of a certain B-17, B-24 and B-29 were gracious enough to let me copy all of their reference material and I am willing to share this with TD.

I have fm's from 2007 and it already was like that. It's nothing new, the flight models of the AI heavies are not historically accurate.

How can you tell the engine performance of AI aircraft?

Without changing of code, you can fly AI planes on a DF server, then watch the track and get the info through devicelink.
