Hello People :)

Im just curious about this game ...

I didn't buy it because everybody was complaining about performance issues, bugs and so on.

The game still bugged and with poor performance or i can put a smile on my face, buy it and enjoy this simulator ?!?!

Thanks

That is a loaded question around here....

...what are your machine specs.

Darn! I am going to have to punt on this one, sorry....I do not know AMD's too well and that GPU also.

But checking on Newegg, that processor is 3.4 Ghz...so that is promising.
Perhaps someone can comment on the GPU. How much memory on the GPU?

There is a thread around here somewhere that compares 1 GB, 1.5 GB and 2 GB GPUs. CloD runs fine on all, but can reach it's limits in some in-game conditions with 1 GB and 1.5 GB cards....causing some stuttering. Turning down the graphics qualities can help.

Your system is not enough to play CLOD smoothly.
You need latest generation graphic cards like Nvidia 670.

Hi All,

I see ..

The rest of the system is OK.

Just change the GPU to the latest possible and get the game right ?

Thanks

Hidamen,

I'm running an Athlon 8 core with 32gb RAM, twin GTX 460's and still have issues with the game due to it's buggy nature, lack of SLI support, lack of updates and general disarray. Until a MAJOR patch is released and it gets out of its current "Alpha/Beta" state, I'd say you should probably stay away from it and continue to enjoy the wholesome goodness that is IL-2 1946. With all the MODS out there for it, I use HSFX 6.0.14, you'll have years of enjoyment instead of the quick wrist slashing that you'll want to give yourself if you get CLOD.
