Don't know if this is the same of stock game, but in HSFX air.ini, the Macchi MC.202 internal name is MC-202 instead of MC_202. Can it be read during program execution?

Did I well renaming it with underscore?

P.S.: series III, VII and XII are OK.

The plane codes so far as I know go like this:

MC-202
MC-202_III
MC-202_VII
MC-202_XII

The first one on the list is the original MC.202 model that shipped with FB. It's not as high quality as the others, it has no cockpit, and it has a much poorer damage model ... there may be other issues with it. It's there for compatibility sake so far as I know. They all use a hyphen instead of underscore... that seems to work with other aircraft codes as well.

Not sure what exactly you're asking about in the hsfx part but I assume they use the same codes that the rest of IL-2 does.

Thanks for your reply.

What i meant about HSFX is that in its aircraft list MC-202 differs, being the sole with hyphen in internal name, that's to say:

MC-202
MC_202_III
MC_202_VII
MC_202_XII

Can't understand how HSFX can have different than stock internal names...

Anyway, after what you mentioned about obsolescence of early Mc.202, I think it's matter of piddling.
