View Full Version : Just a thread of appreciation to TD for their communication and continued support

That really pretty much sums it up.

Currently there are few Sims out there that have had or are having the incredibly dedicated attention to detail that you guys are giving us. There is no-need to list other sims, you are and have created the best and most continuous updates for what I consider the best WW2 combat flight sim.

It seems every week we get a new bit of information, whether it be by an official posts or just replies to forum users questions.

There is nothing better than asking a question and then one of the Team replies to it, that my friends is fantastic customer support and something that should be learned from on other forums.

Currently as it stands 4.12 is looking like an incredible update and will almost make the need for HSFX 6 to add extra options, redundant.

So finally, excellent work team and where many of can find the time to criticise, I just don't see why we can't also make the time to add credit where credit is due.

Cheers, MP

Of course we appreciate, how couldn't we? :) This is the best thing that could happen to this decade-old sim - continuous development with stability and quality guarantee.

It's such a given it feels almost vulgar to voice it; Team D members, you are the schizz and these updates are amazeballs brill, to use youthful vernacular.

Seems to me that TD = excellence is becoming a truism.

Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. Much appreciated by DT team. So far the feedback regarding 4.11 has been very positive. Please check later tonight for the development update. We hope it will be a pleasant surprise for some of you. It will be a new two engine plane... Feel free to guess.

I look forward to every Friday (Here in Australia) for the latest DT updates. You guys do great work for this flight sim, I don't even bother downloading mods for this sim as I find it too much of a hassle to install.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to more of your updates/patches.

Your team and the BDG keeping BoBII: Wings of Victory alive cannot be thanked to much for your hard work. Those two teams keep WW2 flight sims alive.

CloD is only a soulless technology demo in my opinion which lost the plot long ago and will never make it to a sim classic. And yes, I wanted to love it as I waited all these many years. But now I still find myself in 1946, BoBII and RoF...

G'day TD Team,

I'm a big fan of your projects and efforts for IL-2 1946 and I always look forward to your updates every week, or whenever you guys post your latest projects.

There is one thing that came to my mind the other day is how long will TD keep IL-2 alive? Not meaning to sound like a "stick in the mud" but all good things come to an end.

I'm very appreciative of the time and effort that is put into this game and it's all on your free time and not being paid for it. I forgot to mention that you work under restrictions from IC and Maddox games and not to mention Northrop Grumman which limits the addition of the P-61, TBF Avenger, Helldiver just to name a few denied projects but silly as this sounds I still hope that "one day" those projects will be added to this great game.

Thank you Team Daidalos

As long as the effort seems to be reasonable for us. And that depends mostly on the interest and feedback from the community. So far, everything is looking good. :)

Ive been rather critical of TD in the past, especially after some of the comments of their members. But that said I have been blown away with their production volume and quality since 4.10.1. Really quite amazing stuff!
You have started hitting everything that I ever wanted: Expansion into the Med/westfront, better (really really good!) effects, revision of old 3d models and addition of new planes that have been sorely missing.

Hats off to you guys!

hi. I just wanted to say excellent job on 4.11 patch. i finally got around to update and still exploring, but I can say it is very good so far. the ai is much, much improved. bomb fusing, much better system. the transition from fov to gunsight with introduction of 6dof is actually okay. i was a little worried it would be a disaster like CLOD 109 gunsight, but it isn't like that. I haven't notice the overheat change, I guess because I always flew with that in mind anyway. I don't know if this is hsfx or TD, but when I flying the stuka and the guy started heavy breathing at 3000m, that was a little weird, but funny.
