and found this gem:

The rear cockpit occupants, TAG (Telegraphist/Air Gunners), and Observers very soon complained of the lack of a rear weapon and devised their own rearward defences. The ubiquitous Thompson sub-machine gun was favored by most and used to deter enemy fighters from pressing their attacks and the 1.5-inch signal (Verey) pistol was also pressed into service as a weapon. Perhaps the most bizarre 'secret weapon' was a bundle of standard Admiralty issued toilet paper, the leaves held together by an elastic band. Thrown into the slipstream, the band broke, and the bundle 'exploded' -- a shock-effect device which was thought to have saved a number of Fulmars in extremis by forcing assailants to break away in the face of this unknown defense.

Too bad it didn't totally 'wipe' out the enemy! :-P

I formally friggin' demand that TD model the explosive toilet paper deluxe surprise impenetrable defense mechanism post-haste for the next patch.

All in favor say AYE!
