Hello,

A while ago, I remember downloading a program (IL-2 compare) which displayed the performance (i.e. turn rate with/without flaps, tops speed and climb rate vs. alt) of all the IL-2 1946 aircraft.

Essentially, you'd pick two planes and just compare these three parameters which would show up on graphs. I can't seem to find it anymore however.

Can anyone help me find this program? I already have Hardball's aircraft viewer which is great, but I'd like to have the charts I had before.

Thanks

I am not aware of a version for 4.11 yet.

If you google for "IL2 Compare" you will find links to a few different downloads updated to version 4.10, some with mod planes included.

Also M4T has a version updated to 4.09 for download.

I have created an online version of that program.. i.e.

IL-2 Compare Online (http://www.flightsimtesting.com/)

Where you will find more data charts than in the original IL-2 Compare program.. For example charts on flight model parameters like CL and CD vs. AoA.. And additional info, for example the best climb angle plotted on the best climb speed chart. You also have the options of selecting different fuel loads (25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%), and last but not least you can select between metric or imperial units. One other thing to point out, all the data is relative to standard atmosphere testing, which makes it possible to make direct comparisons to real world data, where as the original IL-2 Compare data is not relative to standard atmosphere. Over the next few weekends Ill be adding the acceleration per altitude and Ps per TAS charts and much much more. At the moment I only have 4.10.1 data aval, but as soon as HSFX 6.0 comes out I will be working on getting the 4.11 data up also, at which point it will be easy to see the changes made between versions (like in the F4u's case) and how it affected the planes performance.
