Il2 1946 + CH FighterStick,PT and PP + Win7 issues

Hi all, Did a search but couldn't see anything immediately to hand about this.

I'm running Win7 Professional and Il2 1946 v4.09M. I'm also using CH Products Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pro Pedals with CH Control Manager v4.52. I have downloaded a map for it (which is supposed to work with my TrackIR3 but I won't bore you with that issue yet).

For the life of me I can't get the game to see the Control Manager as it used to under XP. I opened it under "Run as Administrator", loaded the map and then did the same with Il2 but nothing happened. All the presets in the game remain. I tried the HOTAS button in Il2 but that didn't do anything either.

The game sees the controllers - I checked them through Control Panel as well as calibrating them in CM. What it doesn't do is run the map.

Sorry if you've heard it all before: I'm sure someone else has posted this before.

Any help appreciated.

Honestly I gave up using the ch manager and just ran all peripherals individually. Much easier.

install all non OS esential programs under
C:\*folder name of your choice* this will help eleviate the win 7 64 bit security issues i.e
C:\IL2up30\il2sturmovik\
that way you can run user admin rights and by pass the win7x64bit issues.
another example i.e C:\ HSFX\IL2Sturmovik\
i.e C:\CH fighter stick\ i.e C:\ubisoft\il2sturmovik\
ect. ect.
