View Full Version : Slots problem with dogfight mission!

hi all guys.
we had found a lot pf problems with new dogfight mission builder.
The problem is active only when we use carriers, not when we use airbases.
we want create some historical dogfight missions, with historical settings, for example the kwajalain attack by american in early 42.
so we put an american carrier (moving carrier) with a lot of limitatios (in aircrafts models).
our idea is that the first pilots who enter in game take off from deck and the other pilots enter in air.
but it doesent work! when we reach the number of 14 pilots (2 more or 2 left, i dont remember exactly) nobody can enter too, also if all deck planes are taked off.
i try to create the same mission with 16 AI taking off from beginning, so i take another plane, Number 17) and as wished it start in air, cause deck is full.
so the problem is not about aircraft number, but caused only with online players!

somebody has solved this problem or had create a mission with only one or two CV playable by more than 32 pilots simultaneusly (and that work!!).

I use this feature and usually it works with carriers, but I didn't tried it with so many players.
Did you check the flag to use airstart if carrier deck is full in the home base properties ?
As a matter of fact some spawns are difficult to set up.
I had the same problem in MTO map, with the spawns of the small Island south of what seems to be intended like Greece.

hi, yes the flag for air start is selected.
me and my team try some tests, and we cannot found the problem.
it seem like a maximum nuber allowed for carriers different from planned planes!

example, a carrier used as base cannot take more than 12 planes? if i put in builder unlimited, no more than 12 pilots can enter anyway.

if you remember, in dogfight server with only one or two carriers, can play from same base more than 15-20 pilots??

I do not remember at now, maybe because usually people simply use another start and do not tell anything.
I'll pay attention to this in the next days and see how game behaves.
