Why does running the update tool require you to use an activation? My game has already been activated before.

Any eta when the manual new patch will be ready so I can see some of the improvements?

Unicorn tell me to give this http://13century.com/game/patch/2.2.5/update.zip is the update.exe; for error also the update.exe has been protected with the drm, it will be corrected, but for the moment you can use apply this one

Link doesn't work. >>> EDIT >>> It works now.
If someone want to try update the game manually, here (http://13century.com/game/patch/2.2.5/teutonic_en.2.2.5.zip) is the patch. Copy content to the game directory, run patch.exe, done. If you play only campaign you don't even need to run update.exe. It changes only version number in lower right corner. I have gg version too and never had to activate except 1st time.

I thought it was strange as well. I'll give this a shot and see if one works. Thanks!

Well, good news and bad news....

...good news, the provided update.exe seemed to work

...bad news, after the patch was applied I was told by my virus software my computer was just affected by the ws.trojan.h virus and was attached to the asukoso.x86 file.

Not good :(

Do you use Norton 2012? Appears like it gives in many application the presence of this virus as false positive

asukoso.x86 is not a file of patch.
Actually, it's inside the zip archive.

YOu're right there is only in gamersgate version, must be part of DRM, because I searched the file is not a know file, nor is related to virus. My avast give not problems scanning it

I'm going to ask to Unicorn for know what file is.

Thanks...it defintely is there because I can see in the program directory it listed, but with a .dll extension with an updated date as of today. I do use Norton 2012. Don't know if false positive or not, but those messages always scare me since there is no way for me to know if really an issue. And yes, I do have the Gamersgate version.

I have already played with this file today in the directory, and nothing happened (I have spyboot realtime protection activated not only avast) I think is a sure file. Anyway let see what Unicorn reply (at least for know who gives to file this strange name :) )
