I am also GMT+1 (CET). I am online at very random times. Unfortunately, I have much work. But I'm trying to check if there's anybody to play against saturday evening. But not on this saturday, of course :)

In the lack of an official 1C online lobby for FW we are online with our Hamachi server, to host or join multiplayer games online.
send me a private to have the password

P.S.
Send a mail to 1C and to In-Co to ask for a multiplayer lobby

Hi guys, as a new admin, I'll ask the developers if we can arrange official servers.

The other alternative is to get Gamespy to set up a room for FW.

I've already mentioned this in a thread here (http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?p=58428), but since this is a recent one having problems, I figured I'd add a mention here.

GameRanger is a new alternative for playing Fantasy Wars online. It is the easiest way to play, and doesn't require setting up port forwarding or dealing with other router/firewall issues. You should find it way simpler than Hamachi. You can download it at www.GameRanger.com

Why no hamachi, is a light software, simple to install and absolutly not invasive as many authers
I personally use hamachi and we are a big community

Hamachi is actually more invasive because it has to install a new Network Connection, but aside from that, you also have to worry about your Hamachi networks filling up with too many people, and then removing stale people. GameRanger also makes the launching completely automatic.

I'm using GameRanger but it seems like no one wants to play online

Actually tried to find the firewall port for Fantasy Wars from this forum (without having to resort to Hamachi which was my second choice). Since this thread came up I feel this might be a place as good as any to inform people about it.

5001

I netstat -a with and without Fantasy Wars on to find it and have played a game using it so this is a verified firewall port for Fantasy wars.

Enjoy.
