cant seem to find much about the multiplayer part.

so will it be possible to play campaign in multiplayer?

No, right now only tactical battles can be played in multiplayer AFAIK.

But if you can believe the article about Modding this should be changeable... atleast it says that if you want to, you can create a hotseat campaign.
