I've been unable to determine if a Jeep Cherokee is in this game or not. I don't see one on the official list of vehicles on 1C's website however the 5th from last picture on Steam seems to show a green one.

I drive a real Jeep Cherokee. I want to drive a virtual one!

Nice! I always thought those were cool, kinda like smaller Wranglers that weren't overpriced. I've also seen quite a few offroad mags claim that they are the best budget wheelers, no doubt in my mind on that one.

Yeah, they are the cheapest 4x4's around, light weighted, a high reving engine. The only bad things are they have some weak parts, axles etc if you get pretty big tires. If you drive tires bigger then 33 inch axles snap pretty quick. But I've only broke one diff and a few axles and a gearbox so far in my whole off road career (12 years), just know when to stop and attach the winch to a tree. But I'm in love with my Suzuki's, I even had a lot of fights with my ex girlfriend about it.

33's are pretty much the max on the stock Dana 35 rear axle on the XJ's too. I have a Super 35 kit in mine (30 spline axle shafts w/Detroit locker). Came off one of my parts rigs running 36" IROC's so I figure that it will hold up to my 33's with a heavy foot . The Dana 30 up front is fairly tough though, I just have an OX selectable locker in there.

You do an axle swap with yours?

Nope, stock axles, but other gearbox and a lot of other mods. No lockers though, axle would snap too fast. :)

I built the zuki for my parents, my mother named is zukini, which I think is lame as hell but oh well. It also needs to be painted badly, that color really takes away a lot.

I got my lift 5 days ago. Made it myself, bended my leaf springs with a home made tool. :D

I like the Vitara and the Jeep is clean too. :)

Making your own lift.. boss.

Yeah, invested $ 0. used my standard leaf springs, made a tool to bend them and used old Rancho 9000 shocks which my dad had from one of his 4x4's.

Dont even try to compare:

'94 Samurai, 33" Tires, Chromo axles front, Spidertrax fabricated Sami axle in back, 5.13 gears, YJ springs in front, custom 4 link in back, 1.6 motor, etc etc

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e45/chansuke/zukflex.jpg

Flexin.

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e45/chansuke/zukimuddeh.jpg

Sense of scale, im about 5'10".

http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e45/chansuke/zukiplanscopy.jpg

Future plans, along with LandCruiser axles, a chevy 4.3 swap, and some other crazy things.

EDIT TO STAY ON TOPIC: Yes, there is a two door XJ.

And I thought my tires were skinny!

How do you make it through mud?

I get over 40" of flex when fully cycled, could get more but I would need a CV shaft in the rear. Right now im running stock shafts with some Spidertrax puck spacers. I think my ride height is lower too.

I tend to stay away from the mud.
Though I pick some up from time to time:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e45/chansuke/ck.jpg
Also, check my shock leaned way over on the passenger side next to the coil. I had sheared the upper bolt.

Traditionally shocks are attached at both ends, but its a Suzuki thing!
(bonus points if you get the reference).

I think I'll win the power contest, 4.6L stroker and 4.88's w/33x12.5's :)

Traction ain't no thang, Detroit out back

You guys have me beat for flex though, I'm still on short arms at the moment

I still drive stock axles and also some home made spacers for the drive shafts. I have no lockers but I would break my axles in no time then. Now it drives good enough, sometimes i miss a locker but I got my flex. And I think we have the same flex. I'm running the 1.3 with a nikki carb and reduced gearbox. Drives smooth. :)

That's all the flex I have climbing on 40" tires, kinda meh. Gets me around on the trails good enough but there is plenty of room for improvement.

Looks good, I think that is awesome flex for 40's.
