Many issues playing multi lan and single player

[Frustrated]

Just played multiplayer lan ALL DAY LONG with a friend.
Have also played many hours single player skirmish....
These are things that we found out the hard way, hence my username:

Trying not to be rude BUT PLEASE LOOKUP THE WORD "EASY".
Enemy tanks are KILLING our tanks with ONE SHOT every time!!!! GRRRR
Also, does the enemy ALWAYS have to be well setup and "dug in" for EVERY MISSION?!?! They all seem to have eagle eye shots as well...

Ordering troops,tanks,etc is being given to the "player with the least" GRRRR
They should go to the player who ORDERED THEM! (trying to FIND THEM and then switch them is a very large pain in the youknowwhat!!!!!)

When your squad is hit by a explosion, or just sending them somewhere, they all become "unselected" ?!?!
So trying to "re-select" them quickly to run away is difficult!

Getting a "selected tank" to fire on a target I choose, works sometimes and sometimes not, many times the tank will just aim at the target and not fire?

The range and aiming capability of the heavy machine gun is extremely excessive. Enemies aim it like a computer controlled sentry gun.
(ya ya I know it IS a computer, but arent they "supposed to be human AI"?)
Also the enemy seems to have extra armor, they are hard to kill!?!?
Arent they just standing out in the open on that thing....yes they are!

The detail level in the game is great, like taking ammo,mess kits, toilette paper from dead soldiers, storing weapons and ammo in vehicles, trading smoke packs with each other, BUT who the "heck" has time for that when you are being bombarded by soldiers and tanks every second of the mission?!?! You can make soldiers re-load their guns....when?

Aparantly tanks can run out of gas....LOL HAHAHA
Mine NEVER last that long on EASY EASY EASY.....oops sorry,seriously.

Speaking of tanks, repairing them takes how long....10-20 minutes?!?!?
Makes that pretty much unusable. Quicker to just order a new one.
Also if a guy thats repairing is interupted or has to move out of the way of something driving past, he does NOT continue repairing, he just stands there?!?! Repair meter?, damage meter? would be nice. Can't tell when it will be repaired, too busy to babysit the repair guy....

Speaking of "just stands there", many times selected soldiers will not respond to any commands. Is he\them awol, can I shoot he\them, I would like to!

Many times the mouse gets stuck in a runaway mode and moves the whole screen quickly to the opposite side of where it is!?!?
Happened to me and my friend, different hardware....

I really love to play this game (why else would I type all this!) but it is waay too complicated and waay too hard on ...wait for it.....easy.
I am sure it turns off alot of people who just want to have fun without studying a manual and learning a million key commands!
Is there anything you can do about it? please please please

Found another problem last night.
My squads automatically lay down in some firefights, this is not a problem UNTIL I want them to move to another area a fair distance away.
Obviously they do not stand back up, they crawl for a half hour to the new destination.
So I have to constantly BABYSIT and make every soldier on the map STAND BACK UP throughout the game!

OK here's another one.
When I order my soldiers to go to cover they stop in the middle of the battle out in the open to fight any troops they see. Even when all the enemies they were fighting are dead they still do NOT go to the place they were ordered to, they "JUST STAND THERE" and wait for me, the babysitter!!!! GRRRR

Oh ya, when I order them to attack a tank with grenades using F1 (because all my tanks get killed with one shot and all I have to attack enemy tanks is grenades) they throw ANTI-PERSONNEL grenades!?!?!?!?
Man are these soldiers MORONS.

Nope, didnt notice anything like it.



So trying to "re-select" them quickly to run away is difficult!

It's not since you can just select the squad by clicking on one of the guys. Just keep your guys in defined squads and it will be easier to manage.

Thats why you have direct control, to maintain full control of your most valuable assets and not to leave it to the AI.

Well, thats why you use tanks/arty/at guns/flanking/etc. to take them out instead of sending infantry squads to carnage.

It has nothing to do with AI or not, heavy mgs mow down infantry squads, thats what theyre supposed to do.

Mine sometimes run out. You just have to keep more attention to your tanks and not charge them in, they are heavy fire support, not indestructible linebreakers.

Depending on the level of damage, it may take several minutes. You have the schematics of the tank in lower left corner, you can see whats damaged and how many parts are there yet to be repaired.



Makes that pretty much unusable. Quicker to just order a new one.

And much more expensive.

Why dont you just issue an order for him to repair again?

You can just tell them to change their stance, whats the problem? They cant read your mind that you want them to stand up, techincally if its too much for you to handle you can set them free by changing their movement mode and they will manage all of it on their own. Wouldnt do it though.

When you tell them to move somewhere they will proceeed to destination until they encounter enemies. If you order them to sprint (rmb twice) they will run to the cover and ignore everything.

F1 = anti-personnel grenades, F2 = AT grenades, F3 = smoke. Or you can just click on the tank and your soldier will throw AT (if he has one).

Didn't want a way around some issues, got that, not new to any games.
Obviously I am not going to respond to all your comments, some are off point...
Shortly, stance is a pain, watch closely how an enemy operates a HMG, just tell him to repair again lmfao.

Last update...lol, of course on EASY
Soldiers do not go the shortest path, they often choose bizzare paths into enemy fire..?
Tank drivers should be updated, they drive over my HMG implacements and destroy them! doh
ALL german tanks are too powerfull, killing my equal tanks most times with one shot!?!?
Many soldiers and tanks "freezing" in place and refuse to move, yes I checked fuel etc
WAAAAAY too time consuming and flow killing is the re-stocking of tanks shells, from the supply truck.....oy vey!
Nuff said, kickin ass in spite of these issues anyways, "adapt and overcome"
