When you shoot at La-5/7, you can see tracer ammo rounds (and Armor Piercing) out two at the time and with long time intervals between them. This reduces effectiveness of La-5/7 weapons –- there is long intervals between tracers, so u can’t use them to correct aim during burst, and there is long interval between Armor Piercing rounds, so damage caused to enemy plane is a bit random -– or you hit enemy with two AP and he is shot down, or enemy plane crosses burst line between AP and don’t take critical damage…
It seems now Shvak ammo belts on La-5/7 looks like:
Shvak1 – AP-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-AP
Shvak2 – AP-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-AP
Such loading makes shooting less effective -– long intervals between tracers and AP rounds makes correcting burst harder, and less chances what enemy plane would be hit by AP round.
I wish it would be like this (and most likely similar ammo belt load was used in reality):
Shvak1 -– AP-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-AP-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE
Shvak2 -– HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-AP-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-HE-AP
Main idea –- this makes tracers appear more often thus making correction of burst easier, and increasing chances of hitting enemy plane with AP round as it appears more often (it seems AP round have tracer).
It seems, to implement such thing there must be new cannon type implemented in game -– Shvak with different ammo belt. If this is hard to make, maybe there is a possibility to desync Shvaks on La in similar way as it was done to wing mounted machineguns?
In last patches was implemented desynced machineguns in the wings (P-47 for example), when at the beginning tracers (and the other “invisible” ammo types) fired all together, but after ~2-3 sec burst they are desynced and u can see constant stream of tracers, instead of all tracers shooted at one time, this also means that Armor Piercing rounds is also desynced and thus increased chances of hitting vital parts of enemy aircraft with AP ammo round while spraying.
Please, make similar adjustment for La-5/7 with his two Shvaks in some way.
