Here is my New Guinea Japanese Fighter Campaign "End of Wewak" Dgen Campaign for 4.13.4, made using the new NBNG NewBritainNewGuinea map.
This covers the time period 12/43 to 3/43 as the Allied frontline moves around the east edge of New Guinea and New Britain. In 24 missions your Japanese fighter squadron will be busy defending airfields, escorting bombers to attack the allied invasion fleets and beaches, also defending your own ships and convoys.

I have run through it 20 times in fast mode, and full play though twice, all stable. Will improve airfield object density later but theres enough to trigger all the AI as is.
Thank you Taly001: I would like to try your campaign, but link isn't operative (for me, at least)...

Sorry having a problem linking ZIP files in wordpress :(
https://mysimtech.files.wordpress.com/2018/08/new_guinea_frontlines_19431-19441_lowres.jpg
The campaign covers the period during landings on Arawe, Cape Gloucester and Saidor, the new NBNG map is perfect for this and it fits the standard il2 4.13.4 planeset well also.
Most planes have player made skins from previous released work to suit ~1/1944 better. Full listing later and in readme.txt.
I used DGen_mod to get support for the new map, its vastly better than the old Dgen generator with more variety of missions.

Extract the zip into your \il2 directory. Backup old il2\Dgen.exe and \DGen folder else some will be overwritten.

"The End of Wewak" Japanese Fighter Campaign December 1943 to March 1944 for il2 1946 v4.13.4 ---- Version 1.0 --- August 2018
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ __________________________
25 mission dynamically generated Japanese Fighter campaign based around the advance of Australian and US forces around SE New Guinea from December 1943 to March 1944 that cut off supply to Wewak from Rabaul.
Adds files containing tuned DGen_mod 2.0.5.0 files and the new campaign files in il2\DGen. Only Il2:1946 v4.13.4 planes and maps are used.
This campaign is based off the existing "New Britain, New Guinea (January 1944)" map and new Data Base files. The airfields used and plane sets have been tuned for the JAAF, USAAF and RAAF for the time period, also the frontline movements and missions occuring during the Allied advance around SE New Guinea .

Backup DGen.exe from \il2 and the il2\DGen folder somewhere safe before adding this mod in case you want to return your game to standard afterwards.
INSTALLATION - Extract this .ZIP file to your \il2 directory and select overwrite files if asked.

Selected Player Plane Type Notes:
Player plane types are defined for ALL mission types. Missions have been tuned for the Ki-43 and Ki-61 single seat fighters.
Players plane will move airfields at similar times to their actual abandonment. Squadron selected does not effect anything (yet).

If any have tried this its really tough as a Jp fighter Ki-43-II as you fly some quite long missions then get to face P-38 and P-47 which totally outspeed your plane.
Playing with takeoff and landing my best score is only
9- P40
3- P38
3- Beaufighter
2- P47
1- B25
18 kills in 24 missions (and i died at least 9 times and had to replay those again :( )
If you play Ki-45 change MissionDistance=Medium to =Short in Dgen_mod.ini else you get some really long flights to edge of map! (this uses the planes data range and Ki-45 is much further than Ki-43/61's)

Last play through used Ki-61-Ic what a difference to Ki-43-IIa! Can dive with US planes and the 2x20mm can drop up to B-25's on one pass.
10: P-38J
10: P-47
8: P-40
5: B-25
5: A-20
---------------------
38 kills (Ki-61-Ic)

Thanks for sharing!
Yes the Ki-43 is quite a challenging aircraft to be successful in.
