Allegedly you can change the difficulty setting when you go to a new map without shutting down the server. Outside of this Knowledge Base article saying that it can be done I have never been able to find an explanation on how to achieve it.
How to change difficulty settings with a map rotation: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&op=show&kid=522
For now, Yes it can be done. But I am trying to simplify the process as much as possible before i post how.
The idea is so that the difficulty settings can be altered with a map change and doesnt require an admin to be present or manually do it.
I am using IL-2 Server Commander to run the server and would appreciate any assistance regarding this subject.
Example of current setup:
Server start (Using IL-2 server Commander (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=358))
difficulty settings (1) input (Set with difficulty com file (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Knowledge_Base&op=show&kid=520))
Mission 1 started
Mission 1 ends
Mission 2 started
Mission 2 ends
Mission 3 started
Mission 3 ends
Mission 4 started
Mission 4 ends
Mission 1 started
etc.
What I want to be able to do.
