Is there a game/sim called IL-2 Sturmovik BoB II? If so, is it called this or is it under another name as I'd like to get a DVD on it.

No. There is IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IL-2_Sturmovik:_Cliffs_of_Dover) or Battle of Britain II: Wings of Victory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Britain_II:_Wings_of_Victory).

Thank you Artist for clearing that up as I have all Il-2 Sturmovik releases and read about this BoB II being so good and hoped I hadn't missed it by these beaut developers.

The original game is very buggy.
It is highly recommended to patch with the Team Fusion patches
found at the ATAG site.
