Please help

I had to reinstall IL-2:1946. I am trying to patch up to 4.13. I installed 4.08 with no problem. For some reason I cannot get 4.09 to install???? I have downloaded this patch multiple times???? I have tried to installed it over 50 times???? Im losing patience!!!! Please ....someone help me!!!!

Perhaps your downladed 4.09 file is corrupted in the site from where you've got it.

I would suggest you to download the patches from Mission4Today: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&c=605

You will have 2 options:

1) Download all official patches (or those patches you need). All of them work right (for me, at least).

2) Download the megapatch for to upgrade from 4.07 (stock game) up to 4.12.2.
The pros: you will have all the patches (excepts 4.13) in one only file, so the upgrade will be done in the right sequence avoiding problems such the yours.
The cons: the download of the megapatch takes a while because the file weights several GB.

You must be a registered member for to download files from M4T. But the registration takes less than a minute, and you will can download all sort of files: skins, missions, campaigns, etc.

In any case, it is advisable to uninstall and reinstall stock IL2 1946 each time you find problems, and begin the patching process again, using the megapatch or using the right patches.

If you use individual patches, also it is advisable first to test the game with the last installed patch to check that the game works ok , and then install the next patch.
