My Battle of Britain Picture and 'Kopfhaube'

Hi all,

I bought the picture today. (It's almost as good as Larry's works of art!!).

Dover harbour and the White Cliffs can be clearly seen.

I've placed alongside my WW2 German Luftwaffe leather flying helmet/haube. There are no electrics in this version.

Perhaps worn by a ME 109 pilot? Radios were not fitted in all aircraft.

The name inside the helmet is something like A Gollant?? ;)
