Set max. no. of players for Skirmish

Hi, does any1 know how to change max.no. of slots avaible for players in skirmish ? I'll have SP missions only for max 4 plp, so..

"{maxPlayers 8}" in "cooperative.set" is not working.
thx for ideas.
