When running a server on my LAN, can not get chat messages to appear,
The Chat window does appear, and will get when players join and when/if a player bails or crashes,
but no other server messages.
Any help?

It looks like the chatlog is off top of the screen.

Try setting the x and y values to 0.

From my conf.ini:
