No joy!

HEllo all,

I am running windows xp and just installed IL-2 1946, downloaded the 4.08m patch and it worked just fine.

I next downloaded 4.10m and installed it and now the program tries to boot but then shuts down.

I next downloaded 4.101m and installed it and the same, it shuts down without booting.

has anybody else experienced this problem?

You missed the 4.09m patch... download and install that. Then 4.10 and then 4.10.1. That should fix it.

I'll give it a try even though it appears to be only additional skins.

There's a 4.09 patch AND a 4.09 skin patch. You need the 4.09 patch. Skins are only nice to have.

So did you track down a 4.09m patch and does your installation work now?
