View Full Version : Has the G940 reversal bug been fixed yet? If not, best 'new' stick out there?

I have read a lot about the 'bug' and see that there is new firmware.

I currently use a Fully Modded Thrustmaster Cougar (hall sensors and gimbals), but want to get a second stick for my Son's PC. I can't afford another modded Cougar and the 940 certainly interests me, but I hear that the 'reversal' bug is a nightmare?

If that is the case, I am looking at either the X65 or Warthog, but I do like the look and features of the 940 first.

Appreciate thoughts?

Cheers, MP

Hi Mysticpuma,

If you're not prepared to mod (http://forum.sturmovik.de/index.php/topic,173.msg5969.html#msg5969) the G940 (and loose the warranty) stay away from it:

- The "Spikes" issue on R1 and R2 (search the Logitech board (http://forums.logitech.com/t5/PC-Gaming/bd-p/pcgaming)) is still there and Logitech busy replacing G940s
- The ReversalBug has not been solved on any axis but the stick's x and y (hall sensored) and makes flying and aiming a pain

These are the bugs I've experienced myself - there are more reported by others (which I did not experience):
- Problems with the pedals
- ForceFeedback disappearing temporarily due to overheat

My personal opinion: Could have been great, Logitech missed the chance, modded I can live with it.
