The IL2 series and the now best ever WWII game TOW are my favorites!!!!!

IL-2, hands down. There is no comparison.

Right now it is still Il2 - no doubt about it.

But if ToW will get the possibility to develop nearly as long as Il2....I guess ToW can outclass Il2. I am not saying that it will do it for sure, but for me a surface combat game has more of a variety than a flight simulator.
