Well, the topic was started to make the picture of gamers' attitude to our games, cause it's very important to us, some people just like other genres than flight sims. And it's interesting to see, why you love a particular game and to compare your thoughts with the thoughts of other people, so you can follow the link in the top post and explain, why IL-2 is your favourite one. It's worth doing for example just in terms of letting other people play your favourite game. :)

Well before I was a virtual pilot. I was an avid WWII RTS player; Soldiers HoWWII 1c, Blitzkrieg (Nival), Theatre of War 1c,

Now IL2 of course because you have a little of everything in it.
Bombing runs, Fighter escorts, Ground pounding front line support its a very robust game and has allot to offer as far as training and war tactics used for history practicalities.
And most of all It has brought the world together with thousands of virtual pilots together and old WWII pilots playing this on line and communicating over the net with each other on wide subject of WWII.

Evgeny, Oleg is equivalent of the King of Developers, the mastermind, etc... did he also make these games?!?.
With due respect to 1C, im sure you must be the top game producers, otherwise you wouldnt be able Olegs massive salary expectations. I certainly place you above THQ, EA, and UBI because of the attitude towards PC owners and your will to satisfy your clients and give the best support i've ever seen. Also to keep such a legend in 1C says you are a good company. That is enough for us really. That said, you are a good mod, so i will take a look at these other games anyway. :)

Long Live Oleg and 1C, and IL2:SOW Series !!

Oleg! Oleg! Oleg!

That pretty much describes me

But now that I know, I'll definitely have a little look around.

I'm partial to space games when not flying WW2 sims.

Got any good ones, Evgeny?

IL2/46. I have never had a game that has given me so many uninterrupted years of enjoyment. With the exception of my one year deployment I should say. Even then, I had a friend in HQ who had a laptop and I talked him into letting me install IL2 on it. I didn't get to play it very much but he liked it so much (even playing with just the keyboard and mouse!) that he even ordered Forgotten Battles! How about that! :D Playing Il2 in the middle of a combat zone! 8) Inside our base of course...

Well, we're going to release the great space sim called The Tomorrow War. It's going to be out in spring 2008. You can read more about it here http://www.1cpublishing.eu/game/the-tomorrow-war/overview .

And here is the thread for it on the forum http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/viewforum.php?f=12

Hope you'll like it.

Hi Evgeny,

I am only interested in combat flight simulators; IMHO IL-2 is the best and that's why I'm here.

I like the fact that IL-2 is rooted in real life and attempts to be historically accurate.

Being able to use tools to model skins and campaigns, etc, is a big bonus.

The ability to fly on-line with other people and be part of a like minded community is great.

I would only be interested in other games if they are historically based flight simulators.

Happy landings,

Talisman

Il2, the whole series. The only game I play actually.

- the only game I ever played seriously online,
- the only one that I played along 6 years,
- the only one which gives me good time even when I'm not at it,
- the game that gave me hundreds or thousand of hours of entertainement
- ... and the only game that my wife considers as a serious rival ...

Please pass my personal thanks to Mr Oleg for all this. I will be forever grateful for his work. I wish him the best success for SOW: BoB in 2009 ...

Regards,
Insuber

PS: Tomorrow's War looks good and it's great to have a date of release for it  , it will make a good gift for my son who loves X2. I only hope that spring 2008 will not become spring 2011 8) ...
